Ingredients
  

For the Shrimp:

  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika

For the Creamy Garlic Sauce:

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice about 1/2 lemon
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes optional, for heat
  • 1 tsp dried parsley or 1 tbsp fresh parsley

For Garnish (Optional):

  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp grated parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • Pat shrimp dry; season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink; remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter; add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  • Add cream, parmesan, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, and parsley; simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  • Return shrimp to skillet; toss to coat in sauce.
  • Garnish with parsley and parmesan; serve hot.
