- For the Chicken:
- 8 chicken drumsticks about 2 lbs, skin-on
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- For the Honey Glaze:
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- ½ tsp dried thyme
- For Garnish Optional:
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
Pat drumsticks dry; toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in a bowl.
Whisk honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, mustard, garlic, and thyme in a small bowl.
Place drumsticks on the baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes, brush with half the glaze, and bake 15-20 minutes more until 165°F.
Brush with remaining glaze and let rest for 5 minutes.
Serve hot, garnished with parsley and sesame seeds, with veggies or salad.
